PROPOSED HIGHWAY PROJECT
Route 639 * Rappahannock County
Representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 25, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department located on the north side of Route 211 in the community of Amissville.
VDOT representatives will also be present at the hearing site immediately preceding the hearing from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an informal review of available information by interested citizens. All interested persons are encouraged to review the proposal prior to the formal hearing.
The purpose of this Public Hearing will be to consider the proposed location and design of Route 639 from the intersection of Route 211 to 0.69 mile north of Route 211 in Rappahannock County.
At this location and design public hearing, relocation assistance programs and tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will also be discussed.
All interested parties are urged to attend and give the Department their comments and suggestions relative to the proposed highway improvement.
Maps, drawings, and other information are available for public review in the Department of Transportation’s District Office located on Business Route 15, just south of Route 3, in Culpeper and in its Residency Office loacted on Business Route 29 at the South Corporate Limits of Warrenton.
Written statements and other exhibits relative to the proposed project may be presented in place of, or in addition to, oral statements at the hearing. Such written statements and exhibits may also be submitted to the Department at any time within ten days after Jhe public hearing.
