Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Thornhill anti Brittany, Miss Melanie Thornhill and Gary Kopjanski spent the Christmas holidays with the Kopjanksi families in Connecticut.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family were Christmas Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper. Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville was an overnight guest of the Fraziers and was joined there Monday by Miss Brenda Frazier of Culpeper. Tuesday the group motored to Fredericksburg where they , were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier.
Jason Parker son of Mr. and Mrs. Shelden Parker down Boston-Castleton route was the first-place winner in the Christmas writing contest sponsored by the library in Front Royal and we offer our congratulations.

Belated birthday wishes go out to Mrs. Culton Utz who celebrated her 94th on Dec. 13th. Mrs. Utz w ho now lives in Culpeper, was a native of our area for many years where she and her lafe husband owned a farm on 707.
