mi® lammy Dynn Dwyer and Mr. Anthony Randolph Wayland exchanged vows in a candlelight ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 6 o clock at the Sperryville United Methodist Church.
Tammy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dwyer of Washington. Anthony’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Wayland of Sperryville.
The church was decorated with large floral arrangements consisting of gladiola, daisies, babv’s breath and greenery. Candelabra adorned the front of the church. Windows were decorated with magnolia branches, candles and bows. The church was decorated by Judy Atkins and Margaret Ann Wayland.
Mrs. Jody Wingfield was the organist. Mrs. June Jordan-Jenkins sang “I Love You Truly” and “The Wedding Song.”
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Merlin Shorb, assisted by the groom's uncle. Buddy Devers of Front Royal.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white formal satin gown of chantilly lace which featured a bridal “V” neck and back. The Napolean sleeves were of sheer lace. The full circular skirt was adorned with overlays of lace and caught up with button bows. The fingertip veil was of chantilly lace and accented with pearls and sequins.
The bride wore a pearl necklace and earrings, a gift from the groom.
She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, lilies, stephanotis and miniature peach roses which was accented with tiny bows and peach and white streamers.
Miss Cynthia Dwyer of Washington served as maid of honor for her sister.
She wore a floor length peach floral print dress which featured a “V” back accented by a large bow at the
