Turkey walk Nov. 11
The Rappahannock Chapter of the American Heart Association will conduct its annual “Turkey Walk” at the Intersections of Rt. 600 and Rt. 612 in Old Hollow on Saturday, Nov. 11. 'Cheeta'
The movie Cheeta will be playing at the Gay Street theatre on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. This movie is an involving family drama from Walt Disney. . . American teenagers Keith Coogan and Lucy Deakins, on vacation in Africa, adopt a cheetah then savie it from unscrupulous cat-nappers who want to race the graceful and elegant cheetah for money. Cheetah is preceded by a G-rated short, Mickey and the Seal. The movie is rated G. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children.
Shooting match at CVFD
The Castleton Volunteer Fire Department will begin its annual shooting match on Saturday, October 21 at 1 p.m. at the Castleton fire house. Those wishing to participate are reminded they need to use 12 gauge shotguns only, no sleeves. For more information call 937-6051.
