preps schools
for review

Both Rappahannock public schools are going through the process of preparing written self studies in anticipation of reviews by their accreditation bodies.
The next step for each school will be visits by “visiting committees” to evaluate the schools for accreditation by the State Board of Education and by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges. This will be the first time the schools have sought accreditation by the Southern Association. Previously they were only accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Also at this time the school administration is preparing for an “Administrative Review” by a similar committee.
