Ushers were Richard Dwyer, Jr. of Washington, brother of the bride, Joey Pullen of Remington, John Lloyd Jenkins of Sperryville and Gary Settle of Chester Gap, all friends of the groom.
The reception followed at the Sperryville fire hall.
The wedding cake was made and served by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Betty Sue Sisk. She also made wedding mints.
Punch was served by Mrs. Cathy Pullen of Washington and Mrs. Ann Brown of Woodville, friends of the bride.
The food was made by the bride’s family and served by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Betty Jenkins, assisted by Miss Brenda Pullen, Mrs. Joyce Pullen and Miss Connie Jenkins.
Miss Michell Grohs of Washington attended the guest book.
Miss Elizabeth Jenkins and Miss Joyce Menefee, both friends of the bride from Washington handed out wedding programs.
Showers were given by Aline Johnson and Barbara Burke.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is currently employed as a receptionist at The Faith Mountain Company in Sperryville.
The groom is a 1980 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed by Virginia Department of Transportation in Fairfax.
The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. Ethel Dwyer of Washington and a great granddaughter of Mrs. Ida Cornell of Sperryville.
The groom’s grandparents are Mrs. Margaret Devers of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland of Washington.
Following a wedding trip to Shenandoah Acres Resort, the couple is residing in Sperryville.
