THE “OPEN HOUSE”

One of the recent trends in real estate sales is the “Open House” method of selling a home. An “Open House" does just what the name suggest; it opens the house to the general public and, hopefully, generates an interested buyer.

An "Open House” gives a real estate agency the opportunity to spotlight a particular property and it gives both the agency and the seller a chance to hear viewers’ opinions together and to make adjustments in the market strategy if necessary. “Open House” are usually held on either or both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

When a property is first listed, it is also common for an agency to held a “Brokers Open House” to give all the area Multiple Listing agents an opportunity to view the house at the same time. This minimizes distrubances to the seller and the seller’s family.

An “Open House” is a popular and effective means for marketing most residential properties. Our agency would certainly discuss the merits of this type of marketing when selling your home.
