Sen. Robb’s aide to visit
U.S. Senator Charles S. Robb's regional representative, C.R. Suddith Jr., will visit Rappahannock County on Thursday, Jan. 25. Mr. Suddith will be in the courtroom at the county courthouse in Washington from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents with questions, comments Or concerns about matters before the U.S. Congress are urged to come and speak with Mr. Suddith. No appointment is necessary.
Student music contest
The Rappahannock Lions Club V announces its annual Bland Music ContestT scheduled for Sunday, March 4 at the Gay St. Theater. The contest is designed to recognize and encourage musically talented students, and offers scholarships to the top musicians as judged at the contest.
