Quaker meeting

Parenting group in Culpeper

Transit System funding

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 18, at 1:00 p m. to seek input and comments on its application for continued funding for its Transit System through UMTA Section 18. This hearing will be conducted at the Center’s offices, 401 South Main Street, Culpeper.

United Way annual meeting

The United Way of Culpeper Inc. will hold its annual meeting on Jan. 25, beginning at noon at the Aberdeen Barn at Holiday Inn. The meeting will consist of lunch (dutch treat), end of year reports and election of officers. The public is invited. To reserve lunch call United Way office, 825-7615 by Jan. 23.

Support group meeting

A support group meeting for women with relationship problems will be held Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at Saint Stephen’s Church in Culpeper. For further information call 825-8876.

Pro-life march on Washington

Pro-lifers will gather in the Nation’s Capitol Jan. 22 for the 17th Annual March for Life. Free bus transportation will be provided from the Culpeper area to Washington. Buses will be leaving from the Culpeper Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m., March 22, and returning at approximately 6:30 p.m. For more information call (703) 825-8831.
