Fauquier County officials but would apply statewide. The bill would provide a landowner immunity from liability arising from recreational or cultural activities sponsored by a county, city or town if there is an agreement between the landowner and the governmental unit for such use. There are many instances where landowners would allow recreation departments to use their land except for the fear of personal injury suits.
