• approved the advertisement of a relocation of the Hampton District polling place from the courthouse to the fire hall, and the vacation of a right-of-way to the Jett St. stub between the Town Hall and Extension Office for public hearings in February.
• heard from Mr. Wickens, the Planning Commission’s, chairman, that it will consider an application for a rezoning from The Inn at Little Washington at its Jan. 22 meeting.
• was reminded that the town’s voluntary recycling program will begin Saturday, Jan. 20. It will be handled along with the regular trash pickup. Residents are asked to sort glass by color (clear, brown and green) after rinsing and removing caps. Labels may be left on. Aluminum cans should be rinsed, and may be crushed to conserve space.
