Rev. and Mrs. L. Starke Jones of Woodville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 19 with an open house at their home.
The event was hosted by their daughter Miss Linda Jones of Newton Grove, N.C. and their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jones of Charlottesville.
Mrs. Jones made all the flower arrangements for the home.
Mrs. William Olinger of Culpeper catered the reception and a wedding cake was designed and made by Mrs. Harold Eaton.
Miss Sandy Jones, granddaughter of the Joneses presided at the punch bowl and another granddaughter Miss Heather Anne Jones assisted in serving.
