As my two-year job as publicity person for the Rappahannock County Garden Club ends on June 1 I am writing to send thanks to you and your paper.
We are asked to keep a monthly record of club activities and retain copies of newspaper articles and activities. This was done and the club appreciates your cooperation.
The picture in [the May 16] issue of members working at the courthouse will be added to our scrapbook.

Lions benefit
auction held
To the Editor:
The members of the Rappahannock Lions Club wish to thank the citizens and businesses of Rappahannock and surrounding areas for their contributions and support that made our 1991 Annual Benefit Auction such a grand success.
The auction took place on Saturday, May 11 at the Washington Fire Hall'and was attended by a record number of supporters.
96.5%
