Aerobic classes

Simply Aerobics classes are now being taught at the Amissville fire hall at 9 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A babysitter will be provided. For more information call Beth Levick at 675-3108 or Jan Zeamer at 349-3225.

Help for abusers, victims

Services for Abused Families Inc. of Culpeper sponsors weekly support groups for abusers and the victims of domestic violence. A group for women with relationship problems meets at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday and a similar group for men with problems including anger and violence meets at 6:30 p.m. each Monday. The location of these meetings is confidential. For more information, call SAFE (825-8876 or 349-0309). Individual counseling is also available; there is no charge for these services.

AA meetings at Trinity

An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is held at 8:30 p.m. every Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
