The Trading Post in Washington will hold a Native American arts and crafts show featuring Cherokee artist John Guthrie, Mohawk silversmith Jeff Whelan and Cherokee artist Ron “Foreman” Mitchell, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. July 20-21.
Mr. Guthrie works in handmade paper and watercolor, producing papercast sculptures and limited edition prints.
Silversmith Whelan combines carefully chosen stones and silver to create traditional designs. He also does stone, wood and bone carvings.
Mr. Mitchell does a variety of contemporary art in a wide spectrum of watercolors and acrylic.
