“I believe the interest has always been there for a Fauquier chapter. I think that Desert Storm helped a lot. It made service to military families a reality,” said Mrs. Baxley.
The new chapter officers are Mrs. Baxley, vice-chairmen Alice Mann and Llewelyn Fairchild, treasurer Robert Shoemaker and secretary Juliet Carter.
Other board members include Louis Leas, Dr. Michael Smith, Cheryl Summers, Cyrt Cyrtmus, Holder Trumbo, Pauline Upshor, Kay Allison, Nick Applegate, Robert Greenwood, Robert Domin, Nancy Clatterbuck, Lynn Lawrence, Phil Harway, Russell Teel, Parker Bullard, Anne Brooke Smith, Carol Graham and Liz Cross.
