Day slated
at Animal Shelter
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL) will hold “Cat Day” at the county Animal Shelter in Amissville from lO^.m. to 1 p.m. July 27.
Members of the Northern Virginia Animal Rescue League will have many wonderful kittens and adult cats of all ages and types available for adoption. The adoption fee of $10 benefits the Promote Animal Welfare charity.
All adult cats have been spayed, the kittens wormed and given some shots — some of the kittens, those old enough, have had all of their shots.
Refreshments and snacks will be available. RAWL encourages anyone interested in adopting a kitten or cat to stop by the shelter, located off U .S. 211 in Amissville next to the county landfill.
