[ The Flint Hill Fireman’s Carnival will be held at the carnival grounds next to the Fire Hall starting Thursday, July 31 and running through Aug. 3. | Events planned are: ; • Wednesday, July 31: Rides between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. are one iJrice for kids of all ages. Pay $4 and ijide any or all rides as many times as cjesired.. ; • Thursday, Aug 1: The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the current Miss Virginia, Sheri Huffman. Also featured in the parade will be firefighting and rescue squads from the Northern Virginia 4rea as well as Maryland. Bands, $hrine units, floats, Scouts, antique (Jars and a host of others will participate.
i • Friday, Aug. 2: Music will be featured at two shows, one at 7:45 A.m. and the second at 10 p.m. The featured band will be Shenandoah. - • Saturday, Aug. 3: Prizes to be Awarded include: 1991 Ford Festiva; tegisterd black angus, donated by tfoesph M. Gardiner, High Meadow Farm, Flint Hill; two season tickets to the Washington Redskins 1991 tome games; living room furniture, tome made hanging quilt, hand painted Rappahannock “Limited Edition” picture, and other items.
