Mrs. Mick Beam Watkins, age 94, of Green Acres, Wash, would like to say hello to her friends and relatives in Rappahannock County and to let them know she is thinking of them. She is the daughter of the late Hamilton Peyton and Katie CaJlison Beam of Rappahannock.
Beverly Burke and Andrew and Mr. Timmy Leonard of Arlington left on Friday and went to Kings Dominion and stayed at the Best Western Motel. On Saturday they spent the entire day there enjoying the rides, concerts and other exciting things you see and do at Kings Dominion.
On Sunday Mrs. Beverly Burke, Mrs. Alice Racer and Mrs. Anna Clatterbuck went to Front Royal and had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gouchenour. Also joining them were Mrs. Sheila Winters and Brittany.
Happy anniversary to Bobby and Connie Smoot who will celebrate five years on Friday, Aug. 16.
Mrs. Lisa McFarland of Norfolk and her grandmother Mrs. Ned Settle left Dulles Airport on Thursday, Aug. 1 for Great Lakes, 111. to attend Mrs. Settle’s grandson William E. Settle III Boot Training graduation into the U.S. Navy. They also toured the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago on Saturday before returning on Sunday to the home of
