Artists at Trading Post

The Trading Post invites the public to welcome Merlin Little Thunder, a Cheyenne-Arapaho Indian and Merle Big Medicine, a Southern Cheyenne from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 18. Merlin will be showing hit* painting*, done in acrylic, pencil and chalk. Merle will be demonstrating beadwork and she will also be bringing mandellas, moccasins and dream catchers done by her and family members. The Trading Post iH located on IJ.S. 211 West, Washington.

Committee to meet

The executive committee of the Rappahannock County Retired Teachers Association will meet at Washington Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Plans for the year will be made. All members of the association are invited to participate in this meeting.

Class reunion planned

The 1970 graduating class of Rappahannock High will have its lf>th year reunion on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. School Board changes meeting

The School Board meeting scheduled for the second week in August has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Rappahannock High.

The descendants, friends and relatives of George W. and Nancy Bolen Beahm will hold their eighth annual reunion on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington.
