Because there is no parole in the federal; prison system, Mrs. Knowlton will have to serve the vast majority of her 16-year sentence.

Of the eight persons so far arrested, tried and sentenced in the case, only two did not enter pre-trial guilty pleas: Mrs. Knowlton and Kenny Allison. The others who have been sentenced received 18 months.

She pleaded guilty the first day of the trial and has cooperated with authorities, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Apperson, who prosecuted the case.
