Little campers of Camp Strange, Viewtown’s summer learning camp for kids ages 4-to-10, visited the new Rappahannock County Library Aug. 7.
While gathering armfuls of books, they overheard grown-up conversation about the need to find money for chairs and other “important things.” Back at camp, they decided to help.
The next day, a hot Thursday, Aug. 8, they set up to sell lemonade in the shade of the Schmidts’ Viewtown Store and Mary Frances Fannon’s Laurel Mills Store.
