Thelma Lou Allison Knowlton, of Marshall, was sentenced on Aug. 2 to 195 months, or more than 16 years, in federal prison for her role in the Kenny Allison cocaine distribution conspiracy case.
Mrs. Knowlton is the most recent person to be sentenced out of those arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine in Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren counties over a 10-year period.
Only Mrs. Knowlton’s brother, Kenny Allison (the group’s leader), was sentenced to more time in prison. He recieved 30 years from U.S. District Court Judge Claude Hilton last month.
