NOTICE TO ALL CANDIDATES:
ADVERTISING All candidates for elective office in Rappahannock County are reminded that the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance places restrictions on the size, type, and location of political advertising. Please be aware that temporary Dolitical signs are not to be erected more than ninety (90) days prior to an election, and that they must be removed within fifteen (15) of the date of the election. Also, temporary signs may not exceed fifty (50) square feet in area, nor be greater than tep (10) feet in height. In addition, no sign may be (erected in a Virginia Department of Transportation highway right of way, nor may same be placed on any VDyT sign or marker. Finally, no sign may be placed on any utility pole, marker, or other structure. 7 All candidates are asked to make every effort to direct your campaign committees, spokespersons, etc. to comply with these restrictions.
