NOTICE OF MASS MEETING

The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee hereby announces that it will hold a Mass Meeting on Wednesday. August 28. 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington. Virginia 22747. The purpose of the Mass Meeting is to elect delegates to the Seventh Congressional District Convention to he held at Culpeper County High School, Culpeper, Culpeper County, Virginia, on Saturday, September 7. 1991 at 10:00 a m. and to elect delegates to the 31st House of Delegates District Convention to be held at Rappahannock County High School on Saturday, August 31, 1991 at 10:00 a.m.

All interested persons believing in the principles of the Democratic Party are invited and urged to attend. Rappahannock County has been allocated four delegates and two alternates to said conventions Prefiling of candiates for delegate and alternate is required. Each person filing must designate a candidate preference or must state that he or she is uncommitted on their prefiling form The prefiling deadline is three days prior to the date of the caucus. This advertisement is being run in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation within the County of Rappahannock, at least seven days before the above stated prefiling deadline, but not more than 14 days prior to such deadline as is required by the Call to the 1991 Seventh Congressional District Democratic Convention as adopted by the Seventh Congressional District Committee on Wednesday. July 17. 1991. Each person prefiling for delegate or alternate must submit a required fee (or a waiver of said fee) in the amount of $10.00. There is no charge to participate in the caucus.
