grandchildren, Paula Bell and Joel Snaling; six step-grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 10 at Culpeper Baptist Church with the Dr. H.O. Browning and Rev. Carl Menefee officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Albert Payne, Nelson Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Branson Jenkins, Ricky Pullen, Donald Jenkins and Joel Snaling. Found & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Jonas Scruggs Jonas Cord Scruggs of Bealeton, died Friday, Aug. 9 at his residence. He was a native of Fauquier County. He was a student and a member of Washington Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Ruth K. Scruggs of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Jason David Scruggs, Justin Nielson Scruggs and Edward William Roston Jr.; his foster mother, Jean Roston; and his foster father, Edward William Roston Sr. Graveside services were held at the Remington Cemetery in Remington Wednesday, Aug. 24.
