I got a fresh haircut for the New

Year at ye olde Beauty Box. I have asked the paper to put a different photo of me into this - issue. Not because it shows the new cut but because I did not like the old one. This one makes me look like Walter Brennan. I guess when you get old and craggy (ugly?) you start looking like people that are old and ugly. Just change hats and be somebody else. Some wise person at the Cafe commented on my haircut. “What is the difference between a good and bad haircut?” Answer “About two weeks.” I will settle for that.

Which brings to mind the town Cafe, where everyone looks in after a Post Office call, wise ones gather and I have become famous. I am getting requests. Where I had originally planned to announce my annual predictions for the New Year we will have a list of requests and my reactions to them; besides, I don’t get paid enough to make predictions. About predictions I missed last year, local Aileen stock went from 2V4 to 20.1 bought at 6Vi ' and choked, sold at 6Vi.

Answer No thank you. It sounds like too much work. When this column gets to be work, I quit. And will not miss the money. There is also the potential of having my tires slashed.
