If Washington wants to have cable television service this, fall, the Town Council is going to have to settle the street light issue this summer.
Town attorney Frank Reynolds told council members last week that the firm bringing cable into the town will need to use existing utility poles to hold the cable off the ground.
Unfortunately the placement of the poles depends on the style and number of street lights selected by the town. There is another catch to this, Reynolds reported. The television cpble must be 40 inches below
