BLACKSBURG - Figure your taxes early this year, advised Virginia Tech consumer and finance specialists, because you may be in for a shock.
“Many people who, in past years, got hefty tax returns or who at least didn’t owe more taxes, may be surprised when they figure 1992 taxes. They may have to pay more,” said Irene Leech, Virginia Cooperative Extension consumer education specialist at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
