John Kilby Jr.
John H. Kilby Jr., of Richmond, died Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Richmond.
He was the son of the late John H. and Mary E. Kilby.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Kilby of Boston and James Wilson Kilby of Front Royal; three sisters, Mildred Timbers and Irene Timbers, both of Woodville and Polly A. Dennis of Culpeper; a host of nieces and nephews and a devoted assistant, Marge Evans.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Willie R. Kilby.
A memorial service was held at the Chapel of the Veterans Hospital in Richmond Friday, Jan. 15.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston. Interment was in the family section of the Nazareth Cemetery.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
