for conservation
The Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District has received additional funding for the Virginia agricultural cost share program. The program is designed to assist landowners with the installation of conservation practices that protect our
gram. Some of these practices are paid for at a straight per-acre rate. Others are cost shared on a percentage basis up to 75 percent. An individual landowner can receive up to $7,500 for crop and pastureland conservation. Animal waste control facility limits are the same, unless a fabricated structure such as a concrete slurry tank is needed; then the limit is $20,000.
