In the past some teachers had to open classroom* windows while the furnace was running because the rooms became too hot.

Another approximately $33,000 was saved because salary expenses are not as high as those in the budget. Each year the amounts included for salaries are based on the assumption that all employees will return. When a teacher leaves who has more experience than the one hired to replace him or her, there is a savings.
