were Robin Purnell’s painting “Portrait of a Young Woman”, bought by Peter Hornbostel of Washington, D.C. for $1150. Virginia Wormold of Sperryville took home Mary Brownstein’s sculpture “Blind Dancer with Dog” for $450. Cathy and Jim Fort of Madison purchased several artworks: a Diane Fecteau painting for $600, a $400 watercolor by Gary Genther of Sperryville, and a painting by Dieter Schellinger of Washington, D.C. Diane Bruce of Washington was the highest bidder on the original artwork by Jeff MacNelly of Flint .Hill for the poster publicizing the auction.
