Support Group To Meet

The Cancer Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Rappahannock Library. For more information call Ester Settle at 675-3252.

Walk-in Clinics

The Rappahannock County Health Department is expanding it’s walk-in clinics for the following services: Routine Childhood Immunizations, HIV anitbody testing and Blood Pressure screening which are offered free of charge. The following times are available in November: 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4; 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and 911 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22.

Historical Meeting

The Historical Society will be holding a meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14 at the Rappahannock Library. The guest speaker will be Ann L.B. Miller, a Research Scientist with VDOT. She will be speaking on “The Most Convenient Ways,” early road building in the Virginia Piedmont. Everyone is invited. A discussion will follow with refreshment.
