hosted a baby shower for her when told of Peter’s impending arrival, so the Reylands were all set for their new son. He has his own bedroom with plenty of toys and clothing.

Mrs. Reyland,35, is a full-time mom now, and is thrilled to finally have a child of her own. Mr. Reyland, 39, works as an electronic engineer at Vint Hill Farms. They attend St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington with Peter, and being around a lot of people is helping him become more trusting of others. Peter’s favorite trip so far has been to a Toys R’ Us store. “Did his eyes light up when we took him in that store!” Mrs. Reyland said.

Peter speaks some Bulgarian and is learning a few words of English - mama and dada. “It will be difficult until he learns more English, but otherwise he is adjusting to life here as well as any other four year-old,” Mr. Reyland said.
