Nancy Spannaus received less than 1 percent of the vote.

Farris narrowly carried the county with 50.5 percent of the vote to Beyer’s 49.5 percent.

In the attorney general’s contest Gilmore recieved 60.6 percent of the county vote compared to 39.4 percent for William Dolan.

In the race for delegate from the 31st District, challenger Jay Katzen won the county with 56.7 percentcompared to 43.3 percent for incumbent Jerry Wood. Katzen won all three jurisdictions in the district, Rappahannock, most of Fauquier County and about half of Warren County by similar margins.
