Peter spent the first four years of his life in orphanages in his home country of Bulgaria, but now he’s found a home, complete with a loving mother and father.
He no longer has to compete for attention and affection. John and Diane Reyland of Sperryville, his adoptive parents, have made Peter the center of their lives. « The Reylands picked up Peter at JFK Airport in New York City on Oct. 4, 1993. He arrived with four other children from Bulgarian orphanages, two sets of twins. The twins have been adopted and are living in other parts of the country, but the adoptive parents keep in touch and share photos of their new children with each other.
