since Mr. Blundell moved to Virginia, but he included three pieces from his early work in New York to show a “continuity of theme across my lifespan as well as the timeless and placeless qualities I look for when the sun goes down.”
The show will run through July 31. Along with Mr. Blundell’s photographs in the front room of the gallery, there are a wide variety of art forms shown in the back room. Ceramics by Jeanne Drevas, watercolors by Douglas Teller and Gary Greene as well as a mixed media sculpture by the Marshall-Slack family entitled “Alien Tourists,” are among the offerings in the rear room.

Open House
Virginia’s newest winery, Gray Ghost Vineyards, is hosting a special Open House this weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17. Tastings of the 1993 Vidal Blanc and light refreshments will be featured.
Included in their 1993 production is a barrel of fermented Chardonnay scheduled for release in early August. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are currently aging in oak barrels and will be released at a later date.
The winery is located in Amis8ville on the south side of U.S. 211, eleven miles west of Warrenton. Normal business hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For additional information about the winery and Open House, please call the owners, A1 and Cheryl Kellert, at 937-4869.
