Rappahainoek New* Staff Writer • Softball Coach Renee Leake Jjudged the first “Cover-All-Bases | Softball Camp” a success. ! Thirty girls came out last ! Wednesday, Thrusday and Friday to play in the heat. They ranged in age from those going into the third grade next year to those who will be seniors.
They were divided into four ; groups, two of younger players and ■ two of older players. • They spent Wednesday and Thursday morning working on skills: batting, throwing, base running, .fielding and sliding. About 10 who were interested in pitching worked on that.
Then Friday they put it all together and played two games, the first with two teams of younger players and the second with older players.
