Heating Old El Paso Flour Tortillas softens them to make them easier to fold and roll. For recipes that use 8 or more tortillas, remove only 4 or 5 tortillas at a time from the oven when you’re ready to fill them. Otherwise they may cool and crack when folded or rolled. To warm tortillas in the microwave oven, butter 4 or 5 tortillas; stack the tortillas, together and wrap in microwave-safe paper towels. Heat on High (100 percent power) 45 to 60 seconds or until heated through.
Basic Yeast Dough
1 package dry yeast / 1 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons shortening

11/2 cups whole wheat flour
11/2-2 cups all purpose flour
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl; let stand 5 minutes. Add sugar, shortening, egg, sale and whole wheat flour; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually stir in enough all purpose flour to make a soft dough.
Place dough in a well-greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees) free from drafts, 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
Punch dough down, turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times. Shape into rolls. Cover and rise. Bake at 400 degress for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield 2 dozen.

Pour cream into plastic container. Add marbles. Shake until cream turns into butter. Separate whey from the butter. Preparation time: 10 minutes.

Fruit Pizza
1 package (20 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough ,
1 container ( (12 ounces) of soft cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 (12 ounces) jar of pineapple preserves ,
Fresh fruit
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Pat out cookie dough in a pizza pan. Bake 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool. Stir powdered sugar into cream cheese. Spread over cookie dough to within 1/2 inch of the edge. Arrange fresh fruit in design on the top of the cream cheese.
Spoon preserves over fruit. Cut into slices.
