A member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Mr. Creel also worked as an associate attorney with Countenay, Forstall, Grace and Hebert in New Orleans. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wofford College, Spartanburg, S.C. and a law degree from the Unir versity of South Carolina Law School in Colombia.
His nomination will require Senate confirmation. Mr. Creel said he expects the confirmation process to begin shortly.
