Special Events Chair, Tom Winfroo, has announced that the Second Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by the Piedmont United Way, Jefferson Savings & Loan Association and Pepsi Cola will be held on Friday, July 29 at the Fauquier Springs Country Club.
“We are excited about this tournament,” stated Mr. Winfree. “Last year we profited $3,300 for the Piedmont United Way and its member agencies. The golfers had a great time and we are looking for all of them of return! We also expect many others to join us this year.”
Tournament planning is progressing rapidly. The entry fee has been reduced to $75 ($60 for Fauquier Spring members) and players will have a chance to win numerous prizes, including three days and two night in Virginia Beach.
