ASSISTANT Part time position with the Town of Washington, Virginia and Town of Washington Water Works as an Administrative Assistant to the Town Council. Anticipated hours of employment are 9:00 AM. to 1:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Tasks to include: Typing of Town correspondence; Typing and submission of public announcements; Receipt of applications, maintenance of the Town Hall use calendar, issuance of keys to Town Hall users, interactions with contractors for services to the Town; Typing of Minutes of Meetings, maintenance of employment records; Maintenance of the Town Ordinances; Preparation of required documentation and reports as directed; Preparation and mailing of water bills; Recording of payments of water bills; Preparation of tax forms; Procurement of administrative supplies and performance of other administrative activities as identified.
