Rappahannock New* Contributing Writer ; Once again it’s RAWL time at ; the White Elephant. The Rappahan• nock Animal Welfare League is very pleased to have been chosen to participate in the WExchange at the ; White Elephant shop in Warrenton ; for the third year in a row.
The WExchange is an innovative program which helps non-profit organizations such as RAWL by offering retail space fo the sale of household goods, clothing and furniture. WExchange is a companion store to the White Elephant shops in Middleburg and Warrenton. It is located in the Towne Center (next to Food Lion) in Warrenton.
This year the motto at WExchange could well be “the more the merrier.” There will be more groups sharing the profits and more months in which to profit. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will share the sales proceeds for the months of July, August and September with three other non-profit groups: The Evans Home of Winchester, Project 18, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marshall Volunteer Fire Department. The potential exists for great success, and we need two things to make its happen: donation and shoppers.
During the months of July, August and September RAWL will be selling goods to benefit animal welfare. All members and friends are asked to look for items suitable for donation to the sale. Clothing, jewelry, small appliances, household items, lamps, pictures, toys, books,
