The varsity boys’ basketball team fell to Brentsville Friday in a hard fought contest while the JV tallied another victory, this time in overtime.
Coach Eugene Baltimore said he was very pleased with his team’s effort. Noting that Brentsville is undefeated this season, he added that the game was close untU the closing moments. “We played them very tijghtly,” he said. “Willie Eastham did an excellent job with 18 points and 11 rebounds. We’re only going to get better. We played for the first time to the limit. I hope we can continue to improve.”
He said he is also pleased with the J.V. victories. “It’s good news. It tells mes there is a lot of talent down there,” he said.
