Tree Buyer's Guide Available The Rappahannock County Christmas Tree Buyer’s Guide is now available at the Extension Office. Skip Robinson, one of our 1994 Master Gardeners, gathered the information from the producers who called in and prepared the handout. Call or come by for you copy.
Information Classes Scheduled There is a computer basics and information class for parents and adults of the Rappahannock community. Find out what your child or grandchild is learning about todays new technology and how it can benefit you personally. It will be held at Rappahannock County Elementary School for three weeks, one night a week. The course is free and is a Boy Scout Eagle Project. Classes will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18, Wednesday, Jan. 25 and on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Call Michael Wolfe between 7 and 9 p.m. at 547-3202. Class size is limited.
Bereavement Group To Meet The Bereavement Support Group sponsored by The Hospice of the Rapidan will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Washington Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Please call 825-4840 for further information.

Free Clinic Open The Fauquier Free Clinic, Inc. is open every Thursday evening to serve Rappahannock and Fauquier County residents who have no health insurance, no medicare or medicaid and cannot afford to pay for health care. Registration for the clinic is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All patients registered in that hour will be seen that evening. Volunteer doctors and nurses are staffed to provide free health care. Located in the Fauquier County Health Department, 330 Hospital Drive. Call 3470394 for further information.
