Meadows Named

Vice-President

Second Bank & Trust has announced the recent hiring of Mr. David W. Meadows. Mr. Meadows will be a Vice President with overall responsibility for the bank’s new Mortgage Department.

Mr. Meadows began his banking career with Marshall National Bank & Trust in 1972. During his years at Marshall, he served as branch manager, a retail, commercial and real estate lender. In 1986, Mr. Meadows joined People National Bank, where he became Vice President in charge of Real Estate lending.

Since joining Second Bank & Trust in June, Mr. Meadows has developed and gained regulatory approval for a secondary mortgage program at Second Bank & Trust. The focus of this new mortgage service will be to provide long term, fixed or variable rate mortgages.

Mr. Meadows is a 1965 graduate of Fauquier High School. Upon graduation, he attended East Carolina College and Campbell College where he graduated with a BS in Mathematics.

Mr. Meadows’ wife, Emily, is a mental health therapist in Culpeper. The Meadows have two children, Joel, a junior in Appalachian State and Laura, a senior at Fauquier High. Mr. Meadows and his family will reside in Bealeton.
