'v_ Knsti Maria Foster of Sperryyille and Todd Alexander Mrotek of Charlottesville were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Boggs Chapel at RandolphMacon Academy in Front Royal. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Kathleen Monge.
Mrs. Mrotek is the daughter of Mr.’ and Mrs. Guy Foster, Jr. of Sperryville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bessie Porter and the late Zero Porter of Pickens, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy E. Foster, Sr.
Mr. Mrotek is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Mrotek of Luray. He is the grandson of Val and May Wojner of Abbotsford, WI., the late Alex Mrotek and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Darling.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a traditional gown of white organza over taffeta which featured a sweetheart neckline molded in Schiffli beaded lace, fitted dropped torso and basque waistline all molded ■ in pearl and sequin beaded lace. Juliet sleeves with re^mbroidered beaded lace medallions covered the entire sleeve and pointed cuff. The full skirt and cathedral train were highlighted with a wide double bow and beaded center. She carried a cascade bouquet of fubrum lilies, candlelight roses, ■white mini carnations, white wax flowers and springeri.
The mother of the bride wore a black chiffon tea-length dress with a overlay top of multi-colored sequins.
The mother of the groom wore a floor length dress of Jewel green, •long sleeves and pleated skirt.
Rhonda Breeden, sister of the bride, from Manassas, served as matron of honor. She wore a black velvet bodice and black velvet sleeves dress with a floor-length skirt of burgundy satin and a burgundy bow in the back. She carried a cascade bouquet of rubrum lilies, jacaranda i roses, white wax flowers, white and J»Qt pink mini carnations, blue caspia, hot pink and periwinkle statice and ivory ribbon streamers.
