missed the library and being around people, and the part-time job is ideal for her. Her husband lives in Arlington where he retired after a career as a photographer for the national war college. Now he concentrates on chess and is a chess champion, she said. She travels back and forth. She always returns to Arlington on Wednesdays to take him grocery shopping because that’s when the fresh produce comes in.
She is a storyteller and expects to do some of that in setting up the children’s story hours at the library. She said she watched as the new library was being built, and “It’s a beautiful library. ”
