Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative, Inc. was organized in 1932. Although voting members must be involved in farming, it is not necessary to be a farmer to shop at Co-op stores and take part in the patronage refund distribution. Currently the Cooperative has a membership of over 4,300 farmer members, with an additional 20,000+ patrons served through six retail locations in Culpeper, Marshall, Maurertown, Rappahannock, Remington and Warrenton.
